1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pickrs platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Pickrs is a peer-to-peer platform that facilitates connections between shippers (users who wish to send items) and travelers (users who offer to carry items during their journeys). Pickrs acts as an intermediary platform and is not a courier, shipping company, or transportation provider.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You may register as a shipper, traveler, or both.

4. Shipper Responsibilities

• Provide accurate descriptions of items to be shipped, including weight and contents.
• Ensure items comply with all applicable laws and customs regulations of origin and destination countries.
• Do not ship prohibited, illegal, dangerous, or restricted items.
• Agree on delivery terms and reward amount with the matched traveler.
• Pay the agreed reward upon successful delivery.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

• Provide accurate journey details including dates, routes, and available luggage space.
• Inspect items before accepting them and refuse any prohibited or suspicious items.
• Handle items with reasonable care during transport.
• Communicate promptly with shippers regarding delivery status.
• Comply with all customs and immigration laws of countries traveled through.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items may not be shipped through Pickrs:

• Illegal drugs, weapons, or explosives
• Counterfeit goods or stolen property
• Perishable food without proper packaging
• Hazardous materials or flammable substances
• Items prohibited by airline or customs authorities
• Live animals or human remains

7. Booking & Matching

• Shippers may send booking requests to travelers; travelers may accept or reject requests at their discretion.
• Pickrs does not guarantee that a match will be found for any shipment or journey.
• Once a booking is accepted, both parties should communicate directly to arrange handover details.

8. Payments & Fees

Reward amounts are agreed between shippers and travelers. Pickrs may charge platform fees in the future, which will be communicated in advance. All payment arrangements are currently made directly between users.

9. Limitation of Liability

Pickrs is not liable for lost, damaged, or delayed items, disputes between users, customs seizures, or any indirect damages arising from use of the platform. Users participate at their own risk and are encouraged to use appropriate insurance for valuable items.

10. Dispute Resolution

Users are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably. Pickrs may, at its discretion, assist in mediating disputes but is not obligated to do so. Unresolved disputes may be subject to binding arbitration under applicable law.

11. Account Termination

Pickrs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or receive repeated negative reviews.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
